Your Love is Like a Flower
South Ridge Bluegrass from  Moore County, NC is a hard driving band with tight harmony who have been a crowd favorite everywhere they play.  We are four friends who have played with each other in various bands over the past 20+ years and are in our 8th year together.  Our sound includes the traditional sounds of Bill Monroe and Flatt and Scruggs to the modern sounds of John Denver with a mixture of original songs.  We are available for private functions, weddings, and other venues.  So hold on to your hat and enjoy the ride as we take you from the first generation of bluegrass until the present South Ridge style.  Steve, Gregg, Johnie, and Huey

We have 2 CDs available, "Nobody Lives Here" and "Ain't Much Money (for a bluegrass band).  Cost is $13.00 per CD and $5.00 shipping if purchased from our site.  We will reduce shipping costs if you are interested in multiple cds.  Leave a message on my cell phone or send check or money order payable to:

Summertime is past and gone and there's bluegrass in the air.  We had a lot of fun playing bluegrass music this past weekend.  On Friday Sept 16, we were at White Oak Shores in Stella, NC playing at their festival.  There was a good turnout of bluegrass fans and we got the chance to meet a lot of great people. Thanks to Robin Comer and Mike Rose for getting us on the show.  On Saturday we were privileged to play at a friend's 60th birthday party and had a blast!
November 5th we will be at 100+ years of Progress in Carthage.  We will be playing at 11:30, 1:30 and 3:30.  On November 6th we will be playing at 2:00.  We hope you come out to this event, it is a wonderful venue and there is a lot to see.  We hope to see you there!

Check out new videos on Youtube under fiddle12001.  We have posted, "Ain't Much Money", Carolina Moon, and Kentucky Waltz.  We hope you enjoy!  We will keep you posted on upcoming events!
