Your Love is Like a Flower
South Ridge Bluegrass from  Moore County, NC is a hard driving band with tight harmony who have been a crowd favorite everywhere they play.  We are four friends who have played with each other in various bands over the past 20+ years and are in our 8th year together.  Our sound includes the traditional sounds of Bill Monroe and Flatt and Scruggs to the modern sounds of John Denver with a mixture of original songs.  We are available for private functions, weddings, and other venues.  So hold on to your hat and enjoy the ride as we take you from the first generation of bluegrass until the present South Ridge style.  Steve, Gregg, Johnie, and Huey

We have 2 CDs available, "Nobody Lives Here" and "Ain't Much Money (for a bluegrass band).  Cost is $13.00 per CD and $5.00 shipping if purchased from our site.  We will reduce shipping costs if you are interested in multiple cds.  Leave a message on my cell phone or send check or money order payable to:

We also have our CDs available at Mac's Restaurant, Burney's Hardware and Aberdeen Supply in Aberdeen and at Carthage Shooting Sports.  Sales are going good for the new CD. Get yours soon before they are gone!

It's hard to believe that Christmas is almost here.  There hasn't been much time to update the webpage.  November was a good time for the band.  First, we played at 100+ Years of Progress.  The weather was beautiful and the show just keeps getting bigger and better.  On November 18 we were at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Southern Pines for a lunch event,  their Bach Music Series.  I was good to make some new friends.

We hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.  We plan to be back with some new songs and are presently booking for next year.

Check out new videos on Youtube under fiddle12001.  We have posted, "Ain't Much Money", Carolina Moon, and Kentucky Waltz. I have also added a couple of new videos from 100+ Years of Progress.   We hope you enjoy!  We will keep you posted on upcoming events!
